En frivillig, bottom-up forening

Nordjysk Mad og Turisme blev stiftet som forening i november 2017, dog havde foreningen eksisteret i sin uformelle form i 2 år forinden.

Foreningen er skabt som en paraplyorganisation, med det formål at skabe unikke madoplevelser ud af lokalt producerede råvarer.

I dag er vi stadig en non-profit erhvervsudviklingsforening – en paraplyorganisation, der samler virksomheder indenfor restaurations-, hotel-, fødevare- og oplevelsesindustrien i Nordjylland i netværk og fællesskaber. Vi faciliterer tværfagligt samarbejde og vil skabe vækst samt udvikle vores region – det betyder også at vi samarbejder og samskaber med alle, der vil være med til at vise hvad Nordjylland har at byde på.

Det gør vi blandt andet igennem projekter såsom Aalborgs Caféer og Restauranter (AaCR), hvor vi har samlet 62 spisesteder i Aalborg i et medlemsfrit fællesskab. Gennem denne gruppe og kampagnen ‘Let’s Eat Aalborg’ forsøger vi, som en samlet stemme, at skabe bedre vilkår for restaurationsbranchen.

Vi samarbejder med Destination Nord om at udvikle og tiltrække turister til vores region.

Vi samarbejder med Damarks Skaldyrshovedstad (Mors) om at tiltrække international presse til regionen.

Vi sidder med i flere forskellige projekter fra Aalborg Kommune og Brønderslev Kommune.

Daglig drift

Til dagligt er det Sarah Kruse og Line Kristensen der drifter og driver Nordjysk Mad og Turisme, vedligeholder SoMe, hjemmesider, kundepleje, strategier, kaster nye bolde op og håndtere alle ad hoc opgaver og dem der tager telefonen, hvis du ringer 🙂

Sarah Kruse

Udover at være stifter og formand for foreningen, er Sarah Kruse også medejer af det bæredygtige vaskeri, Kruse Vask i Veddum, Hadsund. Til dagligt, holder Sarah dog til i Aalborg.
Sarah har, udover at være mad og vin entusiast, en forkærlighed for planter.

Line Kristensen

Line fungerer som projektleder, PA, alt-mulig-mand. Dertil står hun for vedligehold af hjemmesider, SoMe og alle ad hoc opgaver. Til dagligt, holder Line til i Aalborg, hvor hun bor med sin mand og søn.

Line har, udover at være mad og vin entusiat, en forkærlighed for vikler (slyngeverdenen) og alt relateret til børn.

Fælles

Begge kvinder er handlekraftige, idérige, fulde af højt og godt humør og der er aldrig langt fra tanke til handling.

De siger aldrig nej til en kop kaffe, stykke kage eller et glas vin, ej er de heller ikke blege for at inviterer på noget af ovenstående.

Formål

Hvorfor?

Nordjysk mad og turisme har til formål at fremme kvalitet, oplevelse samt bæredygtighed i gastronomien og fødevare turismen i Nordjylland og dermed bidrage til udvikling af regionen. Det primære omdrejningspunkt for foreningens arbejde, og for medlemmerne, er ønsket om højere kvalitet af såvel råvarer som serveret mad. Vi vil netværke og samskabe, så der skabes unikke madoplevelser ud af lokalt producerede råvarer. Vi ønsker en stærkere madkultur i Nordjylland.

For at opnå bæredygtig vækst i hotel- og restaurationsbranchen samt i den lokale fødevareproduktion – er der brug for at sætte nordjysk mad på landkortet og gøre opmærksom på de fremragende og unikke råvarer vores landsdel byder på. Det er det foreningen Nordjysk Mad & Turisme er sat i verden for at arbejde med.

Foreningen er skabt på toppen af et flerårigt grundigt forarbejde, som i vid udstrækning er vokset nedefra – fra en gruppe ihærdige, aktive og sted- og kvalitets dedikerede madvirksomheder i samarbejde med blandt andre græsrodsinitiativer som Boxtown, uddannelsesinstitutioner og udviklings- og forskningsinstitutioner i Nordjylland som UCN, Nordsøen Forskerpark, Regional Udvikling og Tech College Aalborg.

De ihærdige enkeltpersoner, fødevareproducenter og restauranter bag har gennem tiden stået bag flere events og med tiden har Nordjysk Mad & Turisme bevist sig som en hurtig og handlekraftig organisation, der på kort tid har skabt mange resultater til gavn for afsætningen for producenterne og omsætningen i madbranchen bredt. Foreningen har vist at det er når vi står sammen om det og bruger hinandens kompetencer og ressourcer at vi opnår den bedste udvikling og skaber højest værdi.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to?keep the information confidential. Registration

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
